Today is National Christmas Jumper day, and here at Solo we're all in our Christmas jumpers!!

Althought, National Christmas Jumper Day isn't just for fun. It's held to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-A-Wish UK and Dave the Children, giving hope to families in difficulty at Christmas.

As we celebrate National Christmas Jumper Day, we also enjoy some amazing home-bakes from the office staff.

We had sparkly snowflake cookies, mince pies and jam tarts, a yule log and some festive chocolatey cupcakes.

All round, a great effort from everyone at Solo Support Services!

Yesterday, Ingrid and Nic B both from Solo Head Office took part in one of the largest half marathon's in the country, the Robin Hood Half Marathon, here in Nottingham! They ran an amazing 13.1 miles on the sunny September morning and managed to raise a grand total of £1,351.13 for Breast Cancer Now in memory of dear friend and founder of Solo - Nicola Kirk née Darby.

In the words of Ingrid: "We are not runners but we figured 13 miles one Sunday morning is a piece of cake compared to the suffering endured by Nicola and her family."

Everyone here at Solo Support Services are incredibly proud of them both, well done ladies!
