Countdown to Christmas - Advent of Change

December is here and we're excited about Christmas here at Solo HQ. However, we're also aware of those less fortunate than ourselves and of all the charities in need of help at Christmas and indeed all year round.

Instead of a traditional advent calendar, our Directors have bought an 'Advent of Change' for the office - with each door representing a donation to a different charity.

Today's donation is to Chicks Making Memories  a national childrens charity who provide free respite breaks for children from different backgrounds who are in need of a break from their overyday lives, they may be affected by poverty, be a young carer, have been bullied or have been bereaved. The respite breaks give the children a much needed and deserved chance to create positive childhood memories, as well as try new experiences, meet other children and importantly relax in a safe environment.

Our head office staff are also making a difference this month - instead of exchanging cards, we are collecting goods such as non perishable food and toiletries for the Friary a local organisation who support homeless and vulnerable adults and families.
