The Department of Health and Social Care has released a new recruitment campaign to get more people interested in working in Adult Social Care. This campaign is hoping to raise awareness for the fulfillment and joy that comes from working in social care.
Anna, Kellie, and Helen attended a training day focused on this new campaign earlier this year, which they found very informative. The focus is on inviting more people into the industry and highlighting the support that people already in the sector provide to people in who receive care and support at home. It explains the different roles available within domiciliary and residential care and there is even a quiz to show if Adult Social Care would be suited to you. Follow the link at the end of the post to direct anyone you think could have a successful career in social care so they can take the quiz and find out more!
The great thing about this campaign is it shows how the life of Clients, Personal Assistants, Support Workers, and Carers are positively influenced by Adult Social Care.
