May has flown by, it has been another busy month at Solo. 

We have hosted a work experience student from Nottingham Free School. He gained lots of Experience in Business Administration, Payroll and Finance and he was a great help throughout his time here. We hope he enjoyed his time and found it beneficial. We wish him good luck for his future studies and career in whatever he chooses.

Helen Brown, our Business Manager, and Steph Willbye, our Registered Manager, attended a Management course run by ACAS East Midlands – they found it very beneficial and enjoyable. 

Emma Thurston has made a return to Head Office with a move from Clients Relations Manager to Business Administration role, Emma has shown to be a valuable addition to the Head Office team and everyone is pleased to have her back. Helen Kirk has made a move from Office Administrator to DPSS Client Relations Advisor, Helen will now be working with Anna Archer in the Direct Payments team. We wish Emma and Helen every success in their new roles.

We have also been busy recruiting in Head Office this month, in June we will be welcoming two new team members. We will be adding a new Client Relations Manager to our Third Party team and a Purchase Ledger Clerk to support the Direct Payment Team. We look forward to welcoming them to Solo.   

And finally, congratulations to our Operations Manager Emily Dennett who welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world at the start of May, we can’t wait for cuddles!
