We have had a busy couple of months at
Solo, we have welcomed three new starters to Solo head office; Natalee Prior has
joined our Third Party team of Client Relations Managers, Penny Yeung has
joined our payroll team as a Payroll and Finance Administrator and Nicola
Veselis has joined our Admin Team as Office Administrator, welcome to the team!
Our Client Relations Manager - Team
Leader and Dignity Lead, Roisin Burton presented a Dignity update today to the
whole team. She gave an overview of the work done throughout the company over
the last year and also the feedback from our recent CQC inspection on our
Dignity work which was incredibly positive. Thank you to Roisin for an
informative and interesting session!
Senior
Management and CRMs did a day’s training on coaching techniques to get the best
out of their team. This was provided by the brilliant and ever patient Sarah
from Loates Training, Derby. Helen Brown also attended the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
Integrated Care System Team Leader Conference - looking at the positive changes
ahead for care within the county. She also attached a forum hosted by Nelsons
Solicitors, Nottingham, looking at changes to employment law in 2020.
On
Wednesday 11th December Head Office celebrated Christmas Jumper day
to raise money for Save the Children, Save the children is an Organisation that works in 68 countries around the world,
they help to protect children, give them a healthy start and a chance to
learn.
We are excited about Christmas here at Solo HQ - the office is decorated and the Christmas music is on. We had our annual Christmas Party and exchanged Secret gifts at Carluccio’s who were fantastic hosts.
Huge
thanks to the Solo HQ team who donated food, toiletries and items of clothing
to The Friary, in lieu of sending Christmas cards to each other. The donations
were gratefully received and will go towards helping those less fortunate in
our community to have a more enjoyable Christmas.
Thank you for reading – We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Our head office will close for the festive period at 2pm on 24th December, reopening at 9am on January 2nd 2020.
