You may not wish to employ your own staff and instead use a domiciliary care agency for your care and support needs. We open a bank account in your name and your budget is paid into this, Solo then make all agreed payments from this account to the identified organisation(s) as well as liaise with the funding body regarding audit requirements and account management on your behalf.
In addition to the Managed Account Service, we can also act as the ‘Authorised Person’ in relation to your budget. Our team will complete regular welfare checks to ensure our client’s care and support needs are being met, that the agency or Personal Assistants are providing the appropriate care with the right number of hours of support awarded from the funding body. We will liaise with the relevant organisations to ensure any issues with support are resolved to the client’s best interests.
Our Managed Account service will be provided in addition to Solo acting as the Authorised Person with relation to the clients care and support. The service is provided on condition of receipt of certain information from the funding body, as detailed in our Questionnaire to ascertain service level.
