Location: Mansfield. 

I am a disabled woman due to primary progressive Multiple Sclerosis living in the Mansfield area of Nottinghamshire. I am looking to recruit a worker who can provide support to cover 30 hours per week. The right person will be patient, trustworthy and conscientious, with the ability to respect my dignity and individuality. 

Experience of working in care is essential (level NVQ2 of understanding), however training will also be provided. Experience with MS is also desirable, although not essential. 

The successful candidate will be required to; 

• Provide personal care 
• Assist with dressing 
• Help with mobility and support with medication 
• Help with household tasks 
• Meal preparation 
• Running errands (E.g. assisting with shopping or picking up prescriptions) 

The role includes moving and handling as I am bed bound and a wheelchair user. It also includes the use of a hoist and medical support such as catheter support - full training will be provided. 

Please note that candidates must be female due to the personal nature of the role (Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010). 

Working pattern: 30 hours per week, including weekends. Working pattern will be discussed in more detail at the interview stage. 

Employed Rate of pay: £11.44 per hour Self-employed rate of pay: To be discussed at interview
